What we collect
Career Seed collects the information you provide when creating an account (email address and password) and the data you enter into your candidate profile (work experience, education, skills). When you use the browser extension, job listing details are captured from the pages you visit and stored alongside your generated application documents.
How we use it
Your data is used to generate tailored resumes and cover letters on your behalf. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Job listing details are used only to tailor your documents. In future we may offer a talent discovery feature that allows employers or recruiters to find candidates through Career Seed. Your profile may be included by default — you can opt out at any time from your account settings.
Data storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) and file storage. Generated documents (PDFs) are stored in your account and accessible only to you. You can delete your documents at any time from the extension or dashboard.
Browser extension permissions
The Career Seed extension requests permission to read page content on job listing sites in order to capture job details. It does not track your browsing history, inject ads, or modify pages beyond its own sidebar panel.
